Known as huang qi in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), astragalus is a perennial herb native to China, Mongolia, and North Korea with a history of use spanning more than 2,000 years. Traditionally regarded as a Qi tonic, it is valued in TCM for supporting vitality, resilience, and healthy immune function and is a foundational ingredient in many classical herbal formulas.
