Our certified organic burdock root is sustainably cultivated in the Pacific Northwest and has been valued in Western herbalism and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for centuries. In TCM, burdock is traditionally associated with the Lung and Stomach meridians and is used to support skin health and healthy digestion. Known as gobo in Japan, burdock is also a popular culinary root enjoyed in soups, stir-fries, and other traditional dishes. Our dried root can be prepared as a tea, tincture, decoction, or incorporated into custom herbal formulations.
