Mugwort Herb (Artemisia vulgaris)

Mugwort is an aromatic perennial in the Asteraceae family that has been used for thousands of years in traditional herbalism, culinary practices, and folklore. Recognized by its dark green leaves with silvery undersides, it was historically used to flavor beverages before the widespread use of hops and has long been associated with dreaming, protection, and ritual traditions in both European and Indigenous cultures. Commonly prepared as a tea, mugwort is also enjoyed as incense, infused into botanical vinegars, or added to dream pillows. Many traditional herbalists associate mugwort with vivid or lucid dreaming when used before bedtime.
