Mullein Leaf (Verbascum thapsus)
Our U.S.-grown mullein leaf is cultivated by trusted farm partners in the Pacific Northwest and has long been treasured in traditional Western herbalism for supporting respiratory wellness. This soft, silver-green, fuzzy leaf has been used since the time of the Greek physician Dioscorides, who described its use in De Materia Medica, and was later adopted into Indigenous North American herbal traditions. Mullein makes a soothing tea on its own or blended with other botanicals and is also commonly prepared as a tincture or infused into herbal honey syrups.
Preparation Tip: The fine hairs on mullein leaves can be irritating if consumed. For the smoothest tea, strain well through a fine mesh filter, muslin cloth, or coffee filter before drinking.
