Triphala Powder

Triphala, meaning "three fruits," is one of Ayurveda's most respected and time-honored herbal formulas. This classic blend combines equal parts amalaki (Emblica officinalis), bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica), and haritaki (Terminalia chebula), creating a balanced formula that has been used for centuries to support overall wellness. In Ayurvedic tradition, triphala is considered a versatile tonic suitable for daily use and is valued for its compatibility with all three doshas.

Traditionally, triphala is said to encompass all six Ayurvedic tastes—sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, and astringent—making it one of the most balanced herbal preparations in Ayurveda. The powder has a bold, earthy flavor and is commonly mixed with warm water, juice, honey, or ghee, though it may also be encapsulated or incorporated into herbal formulas.
